Submit Photos for Humane Society 2017 Calendar

Does your dog strike a pose when you bring out the camera? Does your cat smile when you say "cheese"? If so, the Humane Society of Calloway County would like to have your pets' photos in our high-quality, full-color 2017 Pet Calendar! To be in the calendar, there is a $25 donation for the first photo and $10 for each additional photo. There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit and your entry fee will support hundreds of pets in need that are still waiting for their moment to shine. Every photo submitted will appear in the calendar either on a date block within the calendar or, if selected, as one of the 12 pets of the month. Photographs must be in the Humane Society office by Sept. 30, 2016. Twelve photos will be selected for special "Pet of the Month" placement. Every other photo submitted will appear on a date square within the calendar so each pet will have it's moment in the spotlight. You can even reserve a specific date for an additional $5 donation - commemorate an adoption date, birth date of person or pet, memorial date ... any date that is meaningful to your or your pet. All proceeds support the programs of the Humane Society of Calloway County. Additional calendars will be available at the Humane Society's Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale on November 5, 2016. Photo Requirements • Submit a digital photo, preferably, or a hard copy original photo that is no less than 4X6". • Only HORIZONTAL or LANDSCAPE photos are able to be considered for "Pet of the Month" placement because of the format of the calendar. Vertical photos will be highlighted on date blocks in the calendar. • All photos must be in color and contain only animals. • If your photo was taken by a commercial studio, please include a signed release from the photographer with your entry. • Photos become the property of the Humane Society of Calloway County and are not guaranteed to be returned. • Digital photos need to be well-focused, sharp images that are the highest quality you can provide for the best reproduction. • Twelve photos will be chosen for Pet of the Month placement by an impartial panel of judges. Every photo submitted will be included in the calendar. Ways to Enter 1. EMAIL your digital photo(s) and the completed entry form to humanesociety@murray-ky.net. The entry form is attached and includes your name, address, phone numbers, email, name of each pet, and method of payment. Submit your donation at www.ForThePets.org via PayPal or mail a check: $25 for the first photo, $10 for each additional photo and $5 for special date placement. 2. MAIL your well-protected photo(s) to P. O. Box 764, Murray, KY 42071 along with the completed entry form. Be sure your photos are labeled with your name and name of pet with a felt tip pen. Make check payable to Humane Society of Calloway County or pay via PayPal at www.ForThePets.org. 3. DELIVER your digital or hard copy photo(s) to our office at 607 Poplar Street, Murray, KY along with the completed entry form. Payment may be made by check, cash, credit or debit card in the office.
