Description
As we think about the many acts of social injustice, systemic racism, and social unrest going on in the nation right now, we ask ourselves the questions, "What can we do to inspire change? How can we help our friends of color during this time?" Awareness, Education, Action, and Involvement are all ways you may join the fight. Theater is a place where Black Lives Matter! The stage has endless opportunities to unite all people regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, or sexuality. The birth of the PIP United Cabaret was born from this very concept. Playhouse Family from around the United States have come together to provide entertainment from home and help raise funds for the theater we love so much. The music selected is part of the theme which includes action, acceptance and love in times of unrest. Please join us via Zoom on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Your donation to Playhouse is graciously welcome and we look forward to the continued ability to provide diverse opportunities at Playhouse in the Park. Directed by: Stephen D. Keene, Kelsey Blanco, and Lisa Cope
