Nursing Home Announces Post-Tornado Rebuild in Murray

Nursing Home Announces Post-Tornado Rebuild

Kentucky-based ClearView Healthcare Management is excited to announce the new construction of Pleasant Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Murray, Kentucky. The new build will replace Mayfield Health and Rehabilitation which was destroyed by the December 2021 tornado that devastated Mayfield. The building site was acquired in December 2022, and construction is projected to begin this fall.

This new 100-bed state-of-the-art facility will be built at 700 Flint Road in Murray, and will employ over 100 local people. Besides providing beds for long-term care residents, the new facility will also feature several amenities which include 30 private post-acute rooms, an Affinity dementia care unit, an on-site Dialysis facility, and a therapy gym with cutting-edge equipment.

Schaefer Construction will be spearheading the project, serving as the general contractor. ClearView and Schaefer wish to contract with local companies and workers for the project and are currently soliciting bids for various trades. Those who wish to submit a bid should reach out to Schaefer Construction directly at 502-968-1864, or email buildingconfidence@schaefercompany.com.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
