Trades Fair 2024 @ The Homeplace

Saturday, August 31, 2024 10:00 AM - Sunday, September 1, 2024 4:00 PM (CDT)

Description

This Labor Day weekend, the Homeplace 1850s Farm is celebrating the hard labor and hand
work skills of our ancestors during our Trades Fair. At a time when few things were manufactured, people had to rely on their skills or their neighbors to produce everything from knitted socks to horseshoes.

Visit this weekend with local traditional trades and craft people as
they share their skills and knowledge of these lost folk arts. Hand crafted items will be available for purchase.
