Primary duties of the Trash Collector include:

Responsibilities

• Operating garbage trucks
• Collecting and dumping trash receptacles
• Following route assignments as directed
• Other Duties as requested

Must have at least 6 years driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
• Experience with commercial driving is a plus, but not required
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various truck types (front loader, rear loader, roll-off) are advantageous
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new driving techniques and equipment
• Strong organizational skills for efficient load and unload processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour -- depending on experience

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
